If you hear grinding, feel a soft pedal, or the brake light is on, bring the car to 415 MacKenzie Ave in Ajax — easy from Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, and east Scarborough. We inspect pads, rotors, calipers, and fluid, show you what is worn, and only replace what is unsafe. Book online or call (647) 292-6842. Walk-ins welcome Monday–Saturday 10am–6pm.
What to expect
- Symptoms we see
- Squeal or grind, vibration when stopping, a pedal that sinks, or a warning light on the dash.
- Inspection
- We measure pad thickness, check rotor condition, look for leaks, and test the pedal. You get a plain-English explanation before any parts go on.
- Repair vs replace
- If a rotor can be machined safely, we say so. If it is below spec, we replace it. Same for pads and hardware.
- Vehicles
- Cars, SUVs, and trucks including F-150–F-350.

Common questions
Do I need brakes on both axles?
Not always. We measure each axle. If the rear pads still have life, we leave them and tell you when to come back.
Can I drive with a squeak?
A light squeak can be wear indicators. Grinding means metal on metal — do not keep driving. If you are unsure, call and describe the sound.
